Services
Since becoming the school nurse at Van Buren R-1 in August of 1988, the services offered through the health office have greatly expanded. We offer a comprehensive school health program for all students, faculty and staff. Our school system has been a recipient of the Missouri School Children's Health Services Grant since 1995.
Family Life
My husband, Bo, and I have been married since 1969. He is retired from
MODOT and now works seasonal for the National Park Service. We have
three grown children and one grandchild.
Our son Chuck & his wife Billie both graduated from College of
the Ozarks. Chuck works for DYS at Sears Youth Center in Poplar Bluff.
Billie is the Health Educator for Carter and Reynolds. They have
one child Morghan.
Our younger son Matthew also attended College of the Ozarks and
now is a Missouri Highway Patrolman stationed at Marble Hill MO.
His wife Shelley is a teacher at Leopold.
Our daughter J.R. is
a graduate of Lindenwood University and is employed at Crider Mental
Health Agency. Her husband John is a chemical engineer for Fugi Film.
They live in St. Charles.

I love being a grandma to Morghan. During my summer vacation
I enjoy traveling. I also collect angels.
