Region V—Field Of The Year

Stoutland High School’s Tiger Field was recently voted the Region V Field of the Year for 2002. The Region consists of seven states that make up the upper, middle portion, of the nation. Those six states include, Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, South Dakota, and North Dakota. This is a great honor as only one field is chosen every year. Head Coach Jamie Roberts said, “It is such an honor for our baseball team, school, and community to have something of this magnitude be awarded to us. It is really something everyone can be proud of and take pride in.” This marks the first award Tiger Field has won.
