For
this assignment you will work with a partner to research these 5 Native
American tribes that lived in Missouri:
Missouri/Oto
Mound Builders/ Hopewell
Osage
Chickasaw
Illini
After completing your research, you will each write your own
report.

and other reference materials to complete the chart.

Report -
(by yourself)
Use the chart to write a report about the 5 tribes. Be sure to
include information from the five areas on the chart. Also, tell
what part of Missouri each tribe lived in. After a partner has
proofread your rough draft, you will write a final report.
Venn
Diagram -
Fill in the venn diagram to compare 3 of the
tribes. Your teacher will give you the diagram.
Evaluation -
You will be graded on your chart, report, venn
diagram and a written test.
Extra Credit Project
If
you want to earn 10 extra credit points you may make a project to share
with the class along with your report. Ideas are: a craft
project, item of clothing, a food item (Bring enough for everyone to
sample), a Native American game, example of their art that you have
made, etc. Be creative and come up with something that will be
interesting and informative!
