Teacher Page
This project is an introductory lesson on the structure and function of the body systems.
It addresses the following Show-Me Standards:
CA:4  Writing formally and informally
CA:3 Reading and evaluating nonfiction works
CA:6 Participating in formal presentations and discussions of issues and ideas
SC:3 Characteristics and interactions of living organisms
    This lesson incorporates cooperative learning, creativity in production of an original project, persuasive language,
technical skills, and multimedia applications.  Bloom's Taxonomy levels of knowledge,
comprehension, application, analysis, and synthesis are all incorporated. 
    Students should be able to navigate through links on the Web. 
    Students should be able to save and print documents. 
    Teachers should be prepared to answer questions related to navigating through the Web. 
    Teachers should have a strong content knowledge regarding the body systems. 
The assignment represents the students knowledge regarding the basic
structure and function of the body systems, research skills, cooperative learning, and public speaking.
At the conclution  of the web quest, it is hoped that the students will have gleaned the impossiblity of choosing the importance of one systme over the others due to their interdepence.  The teacher should be prepared to direct the class to this conclusion and if necessary present supportive data to PERSUADE them.
