We are glad to be back in school. I trust that everyone had a great summer. Time has a way of going by fast. Last year went by extremely quick. I am proud to report that our students, once again, performed really well on the MAP test. For the first time in a few years the Elementary building received a perfect 4 out of 4 on the annual AYP (Adequate Yearly Progress) report. Two years ago our teachers set their goal to be the best in the conference in test scores. This year they accomplished their goal. I feel very fortunate to work with a staff that wants the best for our students. We have not reached our full potential as a district, but rest assured, we are working diligently every day to provide your child with the best possible education. Thank you for all of your support. We welcome you in our building and hope to see you throughout the year. Together, we can build a strong foundation for a better tomorrow.
