This WebQuest was designed for 4th grade students studying Missouri. It provides students with a unique "hands-on" experience in learning about French/Indian relationships and their importance in the development of our home state of Missouri. They will also learn an alternative "money system" through the use of "bartering" and understand that people depended on each other through trade to survive and grow as a community.
The kids will like designing and operating their own "trading post." What they can learn from this experience is unlimited. I hope you have fun using this project and learn a lot. Included below is a link to the Missouri Show-Me Standards that were used in this WebQuest.
