Reading is highly encouraged at Seneca Elementary.  We become good at things we practice.  The skill of reading requires much practice to become a good fluent reader.  Accelerated Reader Program (AR) promotes reading through acquiring points as the students read books and take tests to check comprehension.  This point accumulation is rewarded at certain levels as the students attain them.  The skill of reading at Seneca Elementary has improved with this encouraged practice.
