These are templates from Internet4classrooms that you might find useful.  Download to your computer and then open in Excel.  (click on the link, choose FILE/SAVE AS and then put it on your disk or in My Documents.  Make sure the file type says "excel workbook".)

Trip Calculator - How much will a car trip cost? - Enter the distance between two locations, the current cost of gasoline and the number of miles per gallon which a car uses. Find out the fuel cost of the trip
M & M Spreadsheet - A workbook composed of several sheets, each showing progressively more information regarding an M&M spreadsheet project. The spreadsheet is actually a tutorial. Start with the first worksheet (the first tab on the left at the bottom of the workbook) and progress through the tabs, trying the things you read. What would I weigh on...? - An interactive workbook which uses hyperlinks and protected cells. Calculate your weight on another planet. Mad-Libs with Excel - This worksheet is password protected so students can only type in the response boxes. A macro, which allows the responses to be cleared for the next person, is part of this worksheet. When you open the workbook, select "enable macros."
