Long ago, in a cold mountainous range there lived a large kingdom that was unlike other kingdoms. Animals lived in this kingdom, and a wolf named Arcade ruled it. He could lead his animals through the harsh weather, and he could hunt food for those that could not. He could do a list of so many things for his people, which made him a perfect leader. All the animals respected him and his fellow pack of wolves. When animals first came to Arcade’s kingdom they were surprised by how he looked. His ears stood tall and proud, his jaws were big and powerful. His teeth were sharp and well kept, and his neck was long and muscular. Arcade’s chest was broad and his legs were thin but quick. All of these attributes had saved his life hundreds of times. Arcade was strong but was also very smart in the ways of fighting; even if his opponent was twice as big he could still bring them down in the end.

One afternoon all animals heard a frightening roar. Arcade was the first to react, instantly he shot down the mountain toward the source of the roar, his paws smacking the ground as he ran. In the distance Arcade could see a gigantic bear in his path, as he skid to the side to avoid running into the beast he was amazed at the sight. The bear was about 9 feet tall; everything about him was huge, from his head to his paws. Both of them stared at each other sizing up their opponent, finally Arcade spoke to the bear. “What are you doing here?” The bear replied. “Let me by wolf, this is Mar you’re talking to, and I’m taking over so let me speak to your leader.” Arcade replied calmly, “You’re speaking to the leader of this kingdom.” The bear laughed till tears rolled down his face. “You’re the great leader everybody talks about?” “You wanted to fight, so come on.” Replied Arcade. Instantly the fight began, Mar lashed out with his claws but Arcade was too fast for him. As Mar was getting ready to attack again Arcade pounced on his back and stuck his fangs into Mar. Mar howled with pain and anger as he grabbed Arcade and flung him at the nearest tree. Arcade’s whole body ached with pain as he got on his feet but he positioned himself for another attack. Arcade ran toward Mar’s feet with full speed as he hit Mar’s legs. Mar tumbled to the floor. Arcade was still pulling him self-together from the impact when Mar used his hind legs to fling Arcade into a mountainside. As the fight continued both Mar and Arcade grew more and more tired. Just as it seemed that they would both collapse Arcade’s people came to help, as they roared down the mountain Mar turned around and ran into the forest. Arcade was taken back to the kingdom were he continued to rule his kingdom.
