2008-09 Goal: 

To guide and provide assistance to faculty to map curriculum enhancing student achievement on the local, state, and national levels.

The committee met on Wednesday, August 13 from 1:00-3:00 to discuss and make plans for professional development in-services and activities for the 2008-2009 school year.

Topics used to meet the goal include, team building, MAP data analysis, DOK levels and MAP updates.  A focus on discipline will also be provided at the 6-12 level.  Topics tentatively set for in-services are as follows:

September 17 – Discipline (6-12) and Curriculum Mapping for 1^st quarter (K-12)

October 17 – Team Building at Mozingo Outdoor Education Recreation Area (morning) and workday (afternoon)

November 12 – Mrs. Wehrli (K-?)/Discipline (6-12) and MAP data

December 10 – Curriculum Mapping for 2^nd quarter (K-12) and CA, Math, Science PD groups share out

January 14 – Mrs. Wehrli – Smart Board Training

February 11 – Curriculum Mapping for 3^rd and 4^th quarters

May 1 – Complete Curriculum Mapping including DOK levels/PD survey
