Physical Science studies the behavior of the physical world around us. Students begin with Problem solving, the scientific method and the use of the SI system of measurement. Considerable amounts of Math will be used to include graphing data and interpreting graphs.
Course: Advance Biology

This Course is to add depth to certain aspects of Biology. It is in mind that those students taking this class are probably preparing for college or some form of additional education. Course work to be expanded will include the plant kingdom, animal and human anatomy.
Course: Chemistry

Chemistry is the study of the composition, structure and properties of substances and the changes they undergo. Before getting into content material students learn the process of scientific method. This method is a logical approach to problem solving, a skill we all can use. Students in chemistry will use the metric system for measurement. Laboratory safety and methods will be taught at the beginning and a safety test given.
