     This course is focused on the ability to understand and speak a minimal amount of Spanish. The student will learn common word and phrases, and establish a foundation in the event of any desire to pursue the language later in life. Students will lean the four skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing within a minimum period of time, and in a way to makes learning the language a meaningful activity. Presentation will be on the contemporary Spanish-speaking world and its culture

     This course focuses on broadening the student's knowledge of Spanish and communication better in Spanish. The students will expand their vocabulary, and grammatical knowledge. They will utilize many short readings on culture, which are used to teach them about the Hispanic world.
