RED RIBBON WEEK, October 26 – 30:

                                          Monday: “Clever Cardinals Stay Clear Away From Drugs”

                                             Tuesday: “Give Drugs The Boot!”  Wear cowboy boots to stomp out drugs

                                             Wednesday:  “Being Drug Free Is No Sweat  Wear sweat pants

                                             Thursday:  “Band Together To Be Drug Free  Wear jeans, red, white, black and a bandana

                                             Friday:  “Say Boo To Drugs  Wear your Halloween costume

 

FFA/FCCLA Members:  Please remember to bring money, $10, for the corn maze next week along with flashlights for Wednesday night.

 

FCCLA Members:  Those attending the Leadership Conference at Tan-Tar-A this weekend need to be at school to load the bus at 7:30-7:45am Sunday morning.  We need to depart at 8:00am.  If you have not turned in your permissions slip, please do so.  Also, Regional Meeting is Wednesday, October 28th.  If you have not turned in your permission slip and paid $20 dues, do so immediately.  Don’t forget the Halloween party is Wednesday  night, October 28, if you turned  your permission slip in to go.

 

Seniors interested in attending Southeast Community College:  There will be an Open House at all of their campuses on Sunday, November 1st, from 11:00am to 4:00pm.

 

P.T.O. logo designs, please collect and put in P.T.O. mailbox.  Logo design deadline is October 30, 2009.

Don’t forget to include name and grade.

 

SENIORS:  The John T. Belcher Memorial Scholarship is available.  Deadline is Nov. 6th to Mr. Jackson.

                                                   

SENIORS: Prudential Spirit of Community Award available in Mr. Jackson’s office.  Deadline:  November 2nd

                   University of Missouri Scholarships are available in Mr. Jackson’s office.   Deadline:  February 1st

 

The following students need to pay Ms. Delaney for not coming to tear down the float: Devin Burkhart, Lauren Dorrel, Austin Ferbert, Philicia McClain, Austin Sanderson, Kayle Sollars **If you have a legimate  excuse for not being there please come talk with Ms. Delaney.  Thank you

 

SENIORS:  The American Legion Scholarship is available in Mr. Jackson’s office.  Deadline:  April 20, 2010

 

Note to All Students:  Fundraising efforts need to be done before or after school, unless you are in a class and you want to ask that teacher when you report to class.  Do not leave class or seminar to walk around from class room to classroom to ask teachers or other staff members to buy thing for your fundraiser.  Also, only fundraising that a school activity or organization is conducting is to be done here at school.  If you are part of an outside-school organization, permission to sell things before or after school only is to be obtained by the building administration.  Thank you for your cooperation.

TEACHERS:  THE BUILDING WILL BE CLOSED UNTIL 1:00 PM ON FRIDAY.  WE WILL BE DISINFECTING THE BUILDING IN THE MORNING HOURS.  IF YOU NEED TO COME IN TO THE BUILDING PLEASE DO SO AFTER 1:00 ON FRIDAY, OCTOBER 23RD.   THANK YOU

 

MS Teachers/Aides – There is a bucket in the new gym labeled RECESS.  Please use this equipment for recess and be sure to place it all back in the bucket when you are finished.  There are also basketballs available in the closet.  All other equipment is for PE classes only.
