Evaluation

It is very important for students to have accurate knowledge at the end of this unit.  A main focus should be on ensuring that students are not learning misconceptions.  Students should be on-task in the classroom.  The final product should be the students' best work.  Projects that are messy or do not utilize any new knowledge are not acceptable.

The project will be evaluated with the Scoring Rubric contained on the Student Evaluation page.  The rubric is to be used to assess the group as a whole, not individual students.  Students should also write a paragraph response at the end of the unit to share their concerns about how well their group got along, feelings about other students who did not do their fair part in the project, and to rejoice their success as well.
