Welcome to the Lutie Counselor Page!Hello my name is Julie Watson. I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you and your families. This will be the fifth year I can call Lutie School my career home. After teaching second grade for two years, I moved to the counseling department. It has been an honor to share in the growth of the students here at Lutie as each one prepares for an exciting future. July 2008 I completed my Master's Degree in K-12 School Counseling at Evangel University. My teaching degree was earned May 2005 from Drury University. During the five years after earning my Associates Degree at Arkansas State University in Mountain Home, Arkansas, I was able to be a substitute teacher for grades Kindergarten through twelve in several local school districts, including Lutie. A life long resident of Ozark County, I feel a connection to our community. Working together, we can all help our students grow and reach goals as they strive to learn how to be self-efficient members of our society. Education is a life long journey we all share together. Please feel free to call or e-mail me anytime I can help with your concerns. I have many contacts throughout the region that can help us find answers for many issues that may arise during childhood and teenage years. Please feel free to contact me through e-mail or phone here at school anytime. Sincerely, Mrs. Julie Watson e-mail jwatson@lutie.k12.mo.us |
