STUDENT ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Students who graduate from a
designated A+ high school may
qualify for state-paid
assistance to attend any
Missouri public community
college or vocational/technical
school provided they meet the
following requirements:

Submit a signed A+ Schools
contract to the A+ office.
(available in A+ office,
elm. and high school offices
or on line)

Attend a designated A+ high
school for three consecutive
years prior to high school
graduation.

Graduate from high school
with a cumulative grade
point average of at least
2.5 on a 4.0 scale.

Graduate from high school
with at least a 95%
attendance record for the
four-year period prior to
graduation.

Perform at least 50 hours of
unpaid peer
tutoring/mentoring of other
students.

Maintain a record of good
citizenship and avoidance of
the unlawful
use/abuse/possession of
drugs or alcohol.
-
Register with the Selective
Service if required by law
to do so.

Make a documented good faith
effort to secure all
available federal
post-secondary student
financial assistance funds
that do not require
repayment.
These funds will be available
for a four-year period after the
student’s high school
graduation.
