The Leopold Beta Club meets in our club sponsor's classroom, while her class is at recess.  Meetings are usually held when there is a major event, such as convention or a fundraiser, approaching.
The Leopold Beta Club has 43 members this year.  To be invited to join, a student must have a GPA no lower than 3.0 on a 4.0 scale and be given good recommendations by their teachers.  Once a member, each student must maintain their GPA and good behavior, as well as give back to the community, usually in the form of at least twenty hours of volunteer work, either with a non-profit organization or with someone in need.
