Purpose of LHS Business Club

Purpose
 The main purpose of the Business Club is to promote interest in business subjects and business-related careers and to involve the parents in their student's work and achievements. 
Membership
 Any high school students at Leopold, who has taken a business class or is currently enrolled in a business class, may become a member.
Officers
 Officers are elected at the beginning of each school year.  Officers include:  President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer.  They assume duties normally assigned to these offices.
Sponsor
 The business teacher serves as the club sponsor.
Activities
 Activities are planned and organized by the members with assistance from the sponsor.  Some possible activities include:
 
Field Trips They are taken after school to area businesses to learn about their operations.
District Business Contest If eligible, members participate in the district business contest.
Business Programs Members also obtain information from colleges about their business programs.
