Elementary = Parties(Grades PreK-5)

The following dates, times and activities will take pl= ace for this school year.

Halloween

October 31^st

Students will not be allowed to dress up during the mo= rning, or come to school dressed up(this includes high school, too). Parents may come at 1:30 and begin assisting their child to d= ress for the parade that will begin at approximately 1:45. The parade takes about one hour. Then students will return to their rooms for a 15 minute party. I= t is recommended that parents who will be bringing treats supply items that are individually wrapped to be placed in trick or treat bags to go home with the student.

Thanksgiving

November 27^th

Elementary students will have lunch with parents. A si= gn up sheet to have lunch will be established 2 weeks prior to the 20^{th so
that we can let the kitchen know the amount of food to have prepared. A cha=
rge
of $2.00 will be for the meal.}

Christmas

December 22^th

Share-a-book assembly will be held at 8:30 a.m. in the= gym.

A movie will follow in the gym. Students will then go = to lunch.

Upon return to their classroom students will receive a= gift, there will be no gift exchange.

Valentine’s Day

February 13^th

Valentine boxes or bags will be designed on the 13th at 2:00, as a classroom project, so that all students will have one. Then on the 14^th there will be a card exchange from 8:00-8:30. A Valenti= ne Party will be held at 2:30.

Easter Egg Hunt

April 9^th

4^th and 5^th grade hosts the East= er Egg Hunt. It will begin at 2:00 p.m. with the Preschool students, followed every 15-20 minutes by K-1^st Grade, and then again for 2^nd-= 3^rd graders. Students are allowed to gather 3 to 4 eggs. Parents are welcome to attend this event.
