| Lisa Cunningham attended Consolidated School
Distrcit #1 and graduated from Hickman Mills High School in 1981. She was
a member of the volleyball and basketball teams for three yaers, a member
of the track team for two years, and softball for one. Her honors
recieved in highschool are as follows: All-Conference volleyball and basketball,
State Qualifier in the 800 meters junior and senior year, member of the
State Championship Basketball team in 1980 and the two time State Runner's
up in Volleyball of 1979 and 1980.
She attended Missouri Southern State College in Joplin, Missouri on a volleyball scholarship, and stayed active in volleyball and softball for all four years of college. She recieved honors in college such as: Four year starter and All- Conference selection for four years in volleyball, Co-Captain and Academic Honorable Mention selcetion senior year, multiple Conference Honors in softball, and a Physical Education Department Honor Award. Her career at Hickman Mills High School started in 1987 as a teacher and coach. She was the Varsity Volleyball Coach from 1987-199, Assitant Track Coach 1986&1987, Freshman girls' basketball coach 1988-1992, and Assistant Softball Coach 1988-1998. Her biggest accolade of all time was her Induction into the Hall of Fame at MSSC in 1999. |
