INTRODUCTION:  This webquest is designed to create Birdbrains or bird experts.  Students who are experts on birds need to attend the city council meeting of Anytown, USA.  These "brains" will make a presentation to the city council members to convince them to save bird habitats.

TASK:  You will need to research characteristics of birds and how they are adapted to their habitats.  Your presentation to the city council can be a speech, power point, or video to convince them of the importance of birds to a community.

PROCESS: Use the resource list to complete the worksheet and chart about birds and their adaptation to habitats.

EVALUATION:  A scoring guide will be used to evaluate your work.
