This philosophy of the Practical Arts curriculum is based on providing the students with the classroom activities that will develop skills needed to make the student employable as an entry-level worker, to enable the students to have basic expertise in home arrangement, computer applications, and to develop social and interpersonal relations in the workplace as well as in other aspects of the community.  A hands-on approach will be taken to accomplish these goals.

In order to graduate a student must have 1 Practical Art credit.  The classes that satisfy these requirements are:  Computer Business Applications I/II, Child Dev I & II, Family and Consumer Science, Foods, Home Furn/Fam Living, Desktop Publishing I & II, Accounting I & II, Intro Business/International Bussiness,  The teachers that teach these subjects are:  Mrs. Turner

Mrs. Kennon, Mrs. Rawlings, Mrs. Davis, and Mrs. Turner.
