I teach
Junior High math, science, geography and Spanish. I earned a B.S. from the
University of
Missouri - Columbia in 1990. I earned a Masters degree in
Curriculum and Instruction from Central
Methodist College in 2002. Early in
my work career, I was an office secretary at a printing company
and a
Doctors office as well as an office Manager at a Radio Station. I always
had a nagging feeling
that I should follow my childhood desire of becoming a
teacher. So, in 1989, I enrolled at UMC. I
aided at California Elementary
and I completed my student teaching in Jefferson City. I accepted a
contract to teach at Clarksburg in 1990. I have not regretted my decision
to complete my schooling.
When a person enjoys their job, it doesn't seem
like a lot of work!
I am married to Tony
Bolinger and we have three children. We have enjoyed watching them grow.
We
always tried to attend school functions, believing that academics are the
most important, but
sports, programs, and clubs help keep kids on the right
track.
I am
thankful that I teach at Clarksburg C-II School. It is a great place to
work. We are small and
can get to know the kids and staff!
