  • Galaxy Search can search by text or title and can limit search to specified subject areas.
  • Hot Bot A favorite basic search engine that allows searching by date and type of document.
  • Infoseek can use question, phrase, or name.
  • Infospace.com The ultimate directory; find people, places, and things.
  • Netsearch Netscape's search engine with several options for searching.
  • Lycos has several options and links to other search services including road maps.
  • Magellan search engine and subject directory.
  • MetaCrawler very comprehensive, allows searching in several engines simultaneously.
  • Web Crawler search or use links to yellow pages, people finder, etc.
  • Yahoo Search a popular search engine and subject directory with lots of options.
  • Yahooligans A search engine and subject directory and the best place for kids to start searching.
