Biome Report

You will be assigned a partner and a biome to research.  You will create a report, a model, and an animal adapted to the environment for your assigned biome.

1.      Notes must be taken on note cards and handed in.

q       Please visit citation machine to see what you will need to write down for your reference page.

Example:

Name of Source (website address), Author or Publisher, Year

Notes go here; not in complete sentences.

Reword the information into your own words.

If using quotes, include the page the quote came from.

2.      References must come from the following sources (at least one from each) and cited on a Reference page in ALPHABETICAL ORDER (see your English book page 518 under sources to see how this page should look):

q       You will use the citation machine to create your Reference page.  You will want to look at this BEFORE you begin your note cards.  Go to the page and see what information you need to get to complete the reference.

!    On the left side, in red, select the type of reference material used

!    Then type in the required information (from your note cards)

!    Click on Process

!    You want the APA citation

!    Click on and copy the citation

!    Then open your reference page and paste the reference in.  You can go back in later and put them in alphabetical order by highlighting, cutting and pasting.

·        Rowland, C. (2004). How to create a reference page. Cosby, Mo: Rowland Inc.

!    Save after you paste each one.
