Grade Check Dates and Report Card Information

During the 2009-2010 school year, the middle school will be sending home as much information electronically as possible. Email notification will be sent to parents, asking them to check parent portal for student progress. This will make it necessary to keep grade input in SIS current. GRADES MUST BE IN BY PROGRESS CHECK DATES. Progress reports are issued two or three times a quarter, generally every three weeks. It is the student’s responsibility to take progress reports home, present them to their parents to be signed and then to return them to the instructors. Report cards are issued on a quarterly basis.

Fourth quarter report cards will be mailed. The dates progress reports will be issued for the 2009-2010 school year is as follows:

*Don’t forget, parents/guardians will be encouraged during registration to sign up for Parent Link, an internet service which allows parents to check School Information Services (SIS) to monitor student attendance, discipline, grades, and lunch accounts. This service is available to middle school and high school students. The information is password secure. Registration forms may be picked up in the high school or middle school offices.
