At Southern Boone Middle School, we view it as our mission to help middle level learners reach their full potential as we prepare them for a changing world. We do this by working together with students, parents, and the community at large to address our student's strengths and needs, by helping them learn to take responsibility for their actions, and by modeling motivation and life long learning. We expect our students to be safe, respectful, and responsible in their actions and behavior, and we value the characteristics of concern, cooperation, and perseverance.
Our students have opportunities to be involved in a variety of activities including girl's softball, football, cross country running, cheerleading, basketball, track, quiz bowl, student council, and a vast array of clubs and activities. We encourage our students to be engaged in the life of their school, and in their learning. The results are that we achieve excellence in academics and athletics.
We like to say Southern Boone Middle School is the place to be because we have a quality staff, student body, and community where we're working towards excellence! If you have questions regarding the middle school or the opportunities here, feel free to contact our office at 573-657-2146.
