Current Needs

We need some ideas for a back-to-school event this fall.

· If you can think of any type of fun event PTA could sponsor to get students, parents, teachers, staff, and administrators together socially to get the school year off to a fun start, please let me know.  Any and all ideas are welcome and appreciated.  We’ll be making a decision on the event and forming a committee to work on it over the summer at our final meeting of the school year, Monday, May 12^th at 6:30 in the Elementary School Library.

We’re looking for someone to be the Room Parent Coordinator for the ’08-’09 school year.

· Responsibilities will be to help plan and conduct the Room Parent Meeting at the beginning of the school year, to keep track of who all of the room parents are, and to provide them with information and reminders for events throughout the year.

We’re looking for someone to be the Spirit Wear Manager for the ’08-’09 school year.

· Responsibilities will be to work with our vendor on what our items will be, updating our display at the Middle School on a regular basis, placing and delivering new orders, and organizing table staff during events.

We’re looking for someone who could develop a web-site for us over the summer and possibly maintain it during the ’08-’09 school year.

We’d like to have a tub of books, balls, toys, coloring books, movies, etc. to make available to our childcare providers during our monthly meetings.  If you have extras of any of these things that you’d be willing to donate, please bring them to our May meeting or call Heather to arrange for pick-up.
