HEALTH AND NURSING NEWS

IMMUNIZATION UPDATE:

Students will be sent home if their immunizations are not current. Please make sure that your child’s immunizations are current. Notifications will be sent from the nursing staff throughout the school year and during the summer for the next school year.

HEAD LICE:

Southern Boone County R-1 schools has removed its no-nit policy. Children with live head lice will still be sent home, but can remain in school with nits. This policy was changed in April 2005 per school board vote.
