Dear Primary and Elementary Families,

 

We need everyone’s cooperation to insure the safety of children who are being transported to and from school in private vehicles.  The administration believes that with your help our students will be safe when they are in these loading/unloading areas.  Below is a list of the procedures that we would like for all students, staff and patrons to follow.

 

Primary and Elementary School Daily Schedule:  Unloading of buses and breakfast 7:45 – 8:05 a.m.

                                                                                    Students need to be at school by 8:10 a.m.

                                                                                    School dismisses at 3:13 p.m.

 

Morning Drop Off

 

STUDENTS MAY NOT ARRIVE BEFORE 7:35 A.M.  Any student arriving prior to 7:45 a.m. must report directly to the cafeteria for supervision. 

 

The circle bus lane between the Primary and Elementary Buildings is for buses and daycare vans only.  Private cars may not utilize this area.

 

Primary – Car riders may be dropped off in front of the Primary Building either from the parking lot or the old bus lane.  Please do not park in the old bus lane because we need to keep traffic flowing smoothly.

 

Elementary – Car riders may be dropped off in front of the main entrance to the Elementary building. 

 

End of school Pickup

 

The circle bus lane between the Primary and Elementary Buildings is for buses and daycare vans only.  Private cars may not utilize this area.

 

Students being picked up at the end of the day will not be released until after the buses have left at approximately 3:15.  Persons picking students up will need to wait in the hallway by the office in order to alleviate congestion in the halls while we try to get students to the buses.  Students will be signed out by the classroom teachers in their classrooms.

 

If you arrive early, please do not go down to your child’s classroom.  There are many ending activities that need to be done and this will help avoid possible distractions.

Snack / Breakfast / Lunch Prices For 2007 - 2008

 

          Students:          Breakfast - $.75

                                    Lunch - $1.35

                                    Milk - $.25

                                    Kindergarten Snack - $.50

 

            Adults:              Breakfast - $1.15

                                    Lunch - $2.00

 

Southern Boone County R-1 Schools uses an automated system called SIS lunch module for breakfast/lunch/snack accounting records. Each student is issued an account card with a personal account number.  Breakfast, lunch and snack money may be deposited into an account any day of the week.
