About Us

Southern Boone School District is located between Columbia and Jefferson City off Highway 63. Our district educates children from Ashland and the surrounding areas and has earned the state's Distinction in Performance Award annually since 2003.

Serving an estimated 1460 students, we pride ourselves in offering small class sizes and a variety of opportunities for our students and staff. We are small enough to share a strong sense of community.

The school district offers numerous student activities, clubs, sports, including band, choir, performing arts, baseball, softball, soccer, volleyball, track, cross country and golf.
