opportunities here, please look on your own too. Call
all college financial aid offices to ask a
representative about opportunities specifically meant
for students with your qualifications.

Seniors - Have
you completed your applications for college? It is
important to have applications done by October, if
possible, to ensure you get your first choice for
housing. Financial aid often goes to students who
have already applied and been accepted early in the
year.
If you have applied and been accepted, make sure to
search the college websites for "general freshman"
scholarship application. Many are due by December 1,
2009. This one form and make you eligible for multiple
scholarships if you qualify.

Bi-Monthly visits to K-8 classrooms have started. This
month I have been discussing how to be successful learners with
your students and what that means now that they are beginning a
new grade level. |
