We will be using the 2005 edition of The World and Its People published by Glencoe for Social Studies.  We will be studying world geography.  The concepts the students will be expected to memorize are as follows:

• continents
• major bodies of water
• North America including Canada and the Caribbean
• South America
• Europe
• some parts of Asia including the middle east
